Description
The shell is made of epoxy resin / glass to meet the demands of continuous use in reverse osmosis processes. The CI series has been designed to operate at a maximum pressure of 70 bars. The closures have been manufactured in SUPER DUPLEX S32760/1.4501 stainless steel, (or AISI 316 L stainless steel on request) , providing high robustness, reliability and stability due to its double seal. Models available in measures 2521 and 2540 for 1 element. Other options in length and diameter available upon request.
Design Specifications
PRESSURE VESSEL C SERIES 2.5 “DIAMETER – WORKING PRESSURE 1000 psi (70 Kg / cm2)
The shell is manufactured according to the Filament-Winding process with cut wires.
The manufacturer will supply the following documentation with the deposits on demand:
– Operating and maintenance instructions.
The tank is supplied complete, with closures and outlets for pipe connection. Membrane interconnects are not included. Fittings and hoses are not included.
The shell has enough diameter to contain the membrane for the reverse osmosis process.
– Standard membrane length: 40”
– Standard membrane diameter: 2.5 ”
– Design pressure: 70 Bar / 1000 psi
– Max. Working pressure: 70 Bar / 1000 psi
– Maximum working temperature: 122ºF (50ºC)
– Minimum working temperature: 34ºF (1ºC)
The shell materials will be the following:
– Resina : Hot Cured Epoxy.
– Fibra : Roving thread.
– Tapa : Stainless steel
The depot in service must be free of external stresses and loads outside those inherent in the reverse osmosis process. The safety valves will be placed in the system, not in the swro pressure vessel closure.
